EUROPE'S LARGEST ELECTRIC PUBLIC TRANSPORT BUS FLEET NOW OPERATIVE Eindhoven and Helmond, main cities in the Dutch provice of North Brabant, head towards zero-emission public transport by putting into operation 43 completely electrically powered articulated buses (18 metres) in a single Public Transport concession in this region. This is an important step leading to sustainable bus transportation and a glimpse at the future of public transport, says Transdev, which is operating the system.

MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY PARTNERS WITH CHINESE TO STUDY AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES The University of Michigan has announced a partnership with Chinese institutions to solve and improve global problems including the need for clean water technology and new transportation methods for future generations. The second project, a research agreement with Frontt Capital Management, a Shenzhen-based investment firm, aims to make advancements in autonomous and connected vehicles as well as in robotic technologies.
